About Maxine
I believe property management is not only about completing day-to-day tasks. More importantly, it is about earning the owner's trust. For owners, a rental property is not just a home. It is a long-term asset. Beyond renting it out successfully, the process should stay organized and transparent, with records for each task, responses to each communication, and continued follow-up on each issue. Through professional management, I want owners to feel informed and confident about their property whether they are local or overseas.
Background
My career did not begin in property management.
I studied architecture in university and later worked in real estate development, where I was involved in residential project work. After that, I worked in data analysis at a multinational company in China and gradually became an investment manager, responsible for project analysis, investment evaluation, and business decision support. That experience made me pay closer attention to data, risk judgment, and the long-term value of assets. I later came to Vancouver to continue studying computer science, with the goal of exploring how technology can improve work efficiency and solve practical problems.
While studying and living in Vancouver, I noticed that many students around me faced challenges during the rental process, such as not understanding tenancy rules, being unfamiliar with the rental process, or not knowing how to protect their rights when issues came up. Later, I also met many property owners who faced their own challenges, including tenant screening, late rent, repair coordination, and unfamiliarity with local tenancy rules and property management processes. I gradually realized that both owners and tenants need more professional and structured support, and I wanted to use my background to help.
These experiences led me to enter the property management industry and join EasyRent Real Estate Services Ltd. I hope to bring together my experience in architecture, real estate, data analysis, and computer technology, using standardized workflows, digital management, and timely communication to provide owners with more transparent and efficient rental property management, while also helping tenants have a clearer and more structured rental experience.
I believe property management is not only about handling daily tasks. More importantly, it is about building trust. When each task is recorded, each communication receives a response, and each issue is followed through, many misunderstandings and conflicts can be avoided. This is the management approach I hope to keep practicing.
